Santiago is a skilled editor and visual effects artist based in New York, originally born and raised in Venezuela.

 

For 2 years, he worked as the lead assistant editor on many commercial projects at Northern Lights for clients such as Disney, HBO and Paramount+, and has since continued to expand his editing work as a freelancer.

 

In only 5 years, Santiago has fine-tuned his strong editing style and garnered a vast amount of experience working in music videos for Jaehyun, NCT-127, Tyga, Young Thug and Shaggy as well as documentaries, narrative feature films, commercials, promos, trailers and short-form content for clients including AMC, SyFy, PBS, Balmain, Zales, Pantene and ORVIS.

 

He edited a short film titled “Love Letter To Asian Women” which won the “Excellence in Short Filmmaking” award at the 47th Asian American International Film Festival. He also edited a feature film titled “Swan Song” which premiered at SXSW in 2021 and was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards.
